The OG Three Slot Vault v2.0 represents a deliberate internal evolution of authorized’s original three watch vault. All external dimensions, materials, and carry characteristics remain exactly the same. The refinement is entirely within, focused on structure, alignment, and long-term consistency. This is not a visual redesign, it is an engineering upgrade for those who notice the details.
At the core of v2.0 is a re-engineered foam assembly process built around a reinforced internal frame system. This structural backbone precisely aligns all internal components, improving durability, consistency in assembly, and overall fit. The interior now utilizes a hybrid construction of custom printed PLA and dense EVA foam, resulting in sharper edges, cleaner transitions, and a noticeably more refined finish.
The watch slot geometry has been redesigned to be narrower, creating a controlled friction fit. As each pillow is inserted, it engages the slot with a deliberate, satisfying resistance that securely holds the watch in place. This enhancement improves stability during transport while preserving the same curved slot silhouette that is unique to authorized vaults.
Nothing external has changed by design. The v2.0 retains the original vault’s footprint, proportions, and understated appearance, ensuring full compatibility with existing carry setups while delivering a more composed and intentional internal experience.

I have been a horology enthusiast and watch collector for over 20 years. During this time I have used several different travel cases for my watches. From individual soft cases, to single watch hard cases, to the individual "puck style" travel cases, to Wolf's 3-Roll Traveler. Each option had pros and cons - either the case was small, but I didn't feel that my watches were 100% protected or the watch roll and harder cases were large and took up too much space in my backpack. During Watch Week in NYC, I ran into some friends and fellow enthusiasts who were using the Authorized Vault and saw immediately how much more practical this application is. 3 watches stored perfectly, tightly, and neatly in Pelican's most trusted case. I called the number on the website immediately and ordered 3 cases. This way I can take 9 watches with only having to keep track of 3 small cases. The customer service at Authorized was top notch. Wai helped me out, answered all of my questions, and had the cases to me in 2-3 days. They were exactly what I had expected and am currently travelling with one of the cases holding a F.P. Journe RQ, Patek Phillippe 5990, and a Platinum Rolex Daytona. The watches are safe and secure in the Vault, in my backpack and made it perfectly safe through a 5 hour car ride, (2) 4 hour flights, and a trip to my hotel room. I could not be happier.
Couldn’t be happier with the quality, fit and finish of the foam. This punches well above its price point and I really appreciate finding value for money these days.
The case is super solid obviously with it being a pelican case. My watches fit snug in the slots from my 44mm pro master diver to my 34 mm Oris. Extremely compact. Definitely recommend.
I was looking to build one myself when I came across this product. It’s exactly what I wanted. Protects my watches at minimal size. Buy with confidence.
I have had several travel cases, never finding just the right one. This case is very small for a three watch case, which is perfect. And being a Pelican Case, it is very sturdy. I can't recommend these cases enough. I'm already thinking about which one I need next!
